Select this and be taken to a list of Epson printers-the list that's part of OS X and does not include the driver I downloaded and installed. Select this and I am asked to 'Select a driver or printer model' from a list that includes many brand names including Epson. I click on ADD and am taken to a new dialog box, Printer Browser, which lists only one printer, 'E', a reference to the Epson R2400 on the FireWire (if I disconnect the printer, the listing for 'E' disappears).
Printer Setup Utility presents a dialog box that informs me no printer is installed, and asks if I want to add one.
